K-Dramas top Netflix's most-popular lists and the choruses of K-pop rock music playlists. Join experts in Korean language and culture to explore Korea’s global reach and impact. In morning talks and an afternoon workshop, participants will gain an enhanced understanding of Korean language and culture in a global context, with a specific focus on language learning and cultural currents in the UAE and Gulf region. The keynote address, “What is Hallyu, the Korean Wave, All About?” will be delivered by Dr. Doobo Shim.
